In 2001, we went 'beyond organics' into chem-free, GM-free, nutrient dense (soil and produce) farming when arriving in Australia from Southern Africa and following "Allan Savory' practices.
We started with olives and truffles (being of French heritage) but soon branched out into other, with free-range eggs being the main income earner. We got 25% better prices than other free range, simply because our eggs were twice the nutrient density, twice as nutritious and delicious. We had a great team (see below) but my job was focused on measuring soil and produce quality.
However, a Govt Law allowing up to 10 000 birds per hectare to be called "free range" and harassment by our Local Council to enforcing commercial kitchen standards (stainless steel) to pack eggs, stamp every one, date and weigh every box, was another clear indication of the fate of smaller farms, , focused on "regenerating soil, produce and human life".

Our mission is to provide the systems and related low-cost, mobile tools for soil, produce and human health (RNI) improvement:

My wife, Sue, a farmer's daughter, had educated our son, Justin, on how to grow things from the early age of 8, starting with bonzai trees.
Justin first qualified as a Horticulturist, then went onto Uni and knew about the soil - plant relationship more than most.
Being a IT supply chain specialist in natural resources, I know that one cannot manage, plan nor control anything effectively and/or efficiently without metrics.
So I focused on measuring, starting with BRIX meters in 2010, SCiO spectrometers in 2017, Agrocares spectrometer and others in 2019 for soil quality, carbon content measurement and soil / plant advice as a service.

We went "beyond organics" into chem-free, nutrient dense farming on 50 acres as above in 2001, starting with truffles and olives.
We started selling BRIX meters in our "Fresh Produce and Organics" store in Trentham in 2010.
Farmers had been using BRIX meters for past 80 years to improve produce, grain, etc., quality,

We went "beyond organics" into chem-free, nutrient dense farming on 50 acres as above in 2001, starting with truffles and olives.
We started selling BRIX meters in our "Fresh Produce and Organics" store in Trentham in 2010.
Farmers had been using BRIX meters for past 80 years to improve produce, grain, etc., quality,
But consumers had no clue what a BRIX meter was, but understood what a "NutriMeter" was, and did.

As we were able to get 25% better prices for delicious, nutritious produce (high nutrient density), why not others do the same?
As well as help anyone wanting to eat well, feel better and live longer?
So, along with NutriMeters, a 24x7 online 'Farmer's Market' system would complementary.
So, started developing the FindGoodFood system in 2013.

Our team is a virtual team, and consists of experienced consultants, horticulturists, nutritionists , chefs, supply chain specialists and technical innovators.
This website is under constant re-development - the only constant in IT is change.
Any comments, recommendations, ideas, etc. for the greater good , would be gratefully accepted.
Due to personal health reasons, I built a Nutri-Scale in 2007 to monitor exactly what I was eating and drinking, chart it against RNI (Recommended Nutrient Intake (NHMRC), but it had to be fast as easy - automatic ID of the produce (bar code, RIFD chips, or image recognition.
Although each transaction only took about 4-6 secs to enter the description (weight automatically recorded), it was still too tedious, so developed a more flexible system within FGF.
We still have stocks of new Smart Chefs to sell, @ 50% discount.
Usual 1 year warranty applies. You simply chose what diet you wish to follow - Weight Watchers , Fitbit and others - see Shop for details.
You simply select any period from 1 day to 1 month, and record your and/or your families food intakes, most useful when your circumstances change. A chart makes for easy reading.
Once you know your nutrient deficiencies, FGF will advise which natural foods and produce best balances your RNI, and where to find them locally or regionally.
For the past 200 years, refractometers have been regarded as the most accurate, hand-held measurement device for measuring objectively the quality of fruit, veggies, eggs and other produce. No arguments about quality opinons, what farming method or Certification, etc. Just the quality of the produce itself.
Measures BRIX only (fruit and veggies), comes with Instructions to use, to calibrate with pure water (phial provided), and the global ratngs of "poor', 'average', 'good' and "excellent" for non-GMO produce.
Inclusions as for Ni, but also measures WORT (used in beer making, and other Specific Gravity measures)
For those with poorer eyesight, dislike of squinting into a lense, or wanting a digital, direct input into their PC or Mobile for monitoring purposes. A snap-on device which took a pic, from the image calculated the position on the BRIX graduations, and produced a digital output / readout and/or input into PC or Mobile.
Digital measures of BRIX, to 0.1 degree of accuracy. Inclusions as for Ni, simply place the liquid or sap in the small bowl, and press a button!
No squinting into a lens, focusing, and then reading.
Makes squeesing out a few drops much easier and less messy.
Since 2017, hand-held spectrometers using NIR (near infra red) technology , provide a fast and easy way of quickly scanning produce for BRIX or NDI (Nutrient Density Indices) values for selecting the most delicious, nutritious produyce before you have to pay for them.
Aimed for Consumer market in 2017, it initially sold many thousands but there were several factors which mitigated against, such as only offering to measure and rate 13 fruits, and no veggies.
Lowest cost hand-held NDI (Nutrient DEnsity Index) scanner on the market, ideal for regular or occasional use. Aimed primarily at those wishing to choose the most delicious, nutritous produce as they walk down food aisles.
Will be able to rate and read the 450 varieties of fruit and veggies available in ANZ in next release. (Nxa)
The ability to detect bad chemicals in food and produce.
Uses more expensive technology to read the molecular structures of food and produce to detect the prescence of molecular changes or addtions, such as chemicals harmful to humans.
The ability to detect GMO in food and produce.
As for Nxi above, specifically to detect the prescence of molecular change such as GMOs, harmful to humans
Most food scientists now agree that specific GMO focusing on adding sugars only, was intended to raise the BRIX readings.
We picked this up in 2023 when developing and testing Nx, finding that tomatoes that used to measure 3 - 3.5 BRIX were now measuring 6-9 BRIX, and tasting much sweeter. We could hardly detect the taste diccrences between rad
A versatile hand-held NDI scanner, 4 in 1 functionalty - Torch, NDI scanner, USB in for charging, AM/FM radio, has a hand-powered dynamo if battery is flat, and has a USB 5V output for charging flat mobiles or other..
