Video

Our first video was created circa 2015 when we realised  that not only do we need to

  • objective measurements (quality?, chem-free? GMO free?) had a place in
  • balancing our RNI (Recommended Nutrient Intake, replacing RDI) ,
  • know where to find 'good' food and avoid 'bad', and to
  • create and to balance the demand and supply of chem-free, GMO-free, fresh, delicious, nutritious, seasonal local produce.

MObile FGF APPS - IMAGES limited by sizes of our Web builder

In this example..

In 2020, we had over 103 000 Providores listed, categorises and mapped throughout Australia.

Back then, mobiles were our weak point, clunky, but will be improved considerably as we modify FGF specifically for mobiles.

In the above example, you first select  a radius distance of those "nearest to you".

And the criteria for your search...

Next..

In this example..

In this example..

  • Select the radius of your search, based on your current location .
  • Select the produce family..
  • Select the variety*
  • List (in proximity order) those within the selected radius.
  • then map as in next slide

* (450 varieties in ANZ from 9 veggie families, 15 fruit families).

Our Story

Our Story

From the above selection criteria,   a proximity map is displayed

  • Clicking on Map or List displays details about the Providores, produce, etc.
  • view the Providores details, produce, etc.
  • then see what is available, price and quality, etc.

* Providores = farmers, market gardeners, growers (incl. home), producers and food outlets and eateries supporting local produce.

FindGoodFood (FGF) launched with 103K Providores but...

Welcome

FGF operated pre-COVID, did not survive the lock-downs, but will be up again soon.

FGF can use objective measures (BRIX, NDI) to rate produce.

a Vision for the Future!

Dr. Charles Massy, OAM, our leading thinker on food and farming systems, stated :

"What we need are self-organizing, self-sustaining food movements if we want to save this nation from bad food!"  (2017)

Affiliates, Community Builders and others who wish to build local food communities . If they so wish, they can use FindGoodFood (24x7 on-line Farmer's Market self-running system, connecting Growers with Consumers, and vice versa.

Regenerative/Regenerating Farming!

 Regenerative agriculture focuses on:

  1. Improving the water cycle,
  2. enhancing ecosystem services, supporting biosequestration,
  3. increasing resilience to climate change, and
  4. strengthening the health and vitality of soil, produce and human life!

For farmers - sell superior produce for superior prices!

The poof of the pudding...

Before retirement from 'regen' farming (since 2001), we got 25% higher prices wholesale for 'free range eggs' above the retail price in the shops, simply because our nutrient density (BRIX 16-20 for the 'white', not the yolk), our deliciousness, according to chef's, and our nutritional values were twice those of other 'free range" eggs BRIX (BRIX 8-10).

Grab interest

Now in retirement, our goal is to help other 'regen' (nutrient dense, chem-free, GM-free)  do the same as us - become price makers, not price takers!

Our unique offerings...

FindGoodFood systems and NBS (NutriBalance Systems)  work together to assist you. Nx is but one of the modern tools in the soil, produce and human health supply chain chain.
