Probably, as from Jan, 2026, we can now buy GMO Tomatoes legally and soon many more produce items. You have been able to buy NBT  (New Breeding Techniques - similar to GMO) modified produce in order to circumvent Australian anti-GMO laws (in effect until Dec., 2025).

So, if you wish to avoid the long-term effects of a double whammy of:

• Sugar / fructose laden produce, and
• GMO / NBT

then there are 2 Nx models which measures both nutrient density and sugar content levels in one read:

• NxC - Consumer grade, designed for Customers to, fast and easily,  pick the best from what is on front of them in 4-5 auto-scans:
• NxL - Lab grade, a 12 sec scan for more accurate readings for greater integrity, useful for Farmers and Research purposes.  

Both do the same functions of readings :

• Nutrient Density Indices (NDI)*, 
• Sugar Content Indices (SCI), and
• SCI / NDI Ratios', so that one can identify / compare artificially sugar laden produce  with natural produce.   

 * which we are currently correlating with BRIX readings for 450 varieties of produce in ANZ, which we have collected since 2010, correlations, so you can assess whether produce is rated "poor', 'average', 'good' or 'excellent' before you have to pay for it, and sugar comparisons against natural, unmodified produce.
