Explanation of BRIX Readings and Ratings.

Nx is the result of years (since 2017) in the use of hand-held spectrometers to measure soil (Agrocares) and produce (SCiO, BioNutrient Meter) nutrient densities. 

The developer (3 Biz degrees) has been a 'problem solver' in the use of IT since 1976, trained originally by Unilever, worked with IBM, for HP and several  supply chain / work force optimization software companies, using real-time AI/NN to solve complex SCO and WFO 'puzzles' since 2008.

Together with his son (a horticulturist, agronomist), they went 'beyond organics' in 2001 into chem-free, GM-free, nutrient dense farming, becoming 'price makers' getting 25% better prices for produce twice the nutrient density of competitors.

Now retired, we wish to pass on our knowledge & skills, imbedded in tools and systems to others wanting to the same and for Consumers to find the most delicious, nutritious in-store or online. 

So, we researched 'best thinking' on the subject (as below) to develop in 2023, a hand-held, fast, easy, low-cost  device to be used by Consumers and Growers in connecting with each other using "objective" metrics and gradings, for 450 varieties available in ANZ, instead of opinions,   certifications, farming methods, producer decided 5-star Self-Rating systems, etc.
